Looking for an affordable resort attraction? 

Believe me or not, I recommend you to visit Mabinay Hot Spring from Negros Oriental, Visayas, Philippines.

The Municipality of Mabinay, Negros Oriental is known for 400 caves and a beautiful spring. Now, lets review their very own so called Mabinay Hot Spring which was run by its own Government. Located at Poblacion Mabinay just walking distance from National Road bound to Dumaguete City and about 10 minutes stroll from the terminal, its location is very convenient and in walking distance of eateries and small restaurants.

The first time I visited this place way back 2011, during my College Days, the original view or spot was not that improvise. But still, I was amazed with the spring although I was expecting a "hot" water but its not, we didn't really explore in that place during the time because we're just dropping by. I actually don't know how much it cost that time when I got there accompanied by our University School because we are having a play for Graduation. Anyway, as time goes by, I heard Mabinay Hot Spring is improving, and I got interested in visiting it again.

This time, we visited the place last year (2017), visitors have also the options to get high up between the trees and enjoy the canopy walk or fly above the lagoon on a Zip-Line. The entrance fee only cost Php 10 for adults and Php 5 for children. Mabinay Hot Spring now has build its newest Swimming Pool. Its Pool entrance fee cost Php 75 for adults and Php 50 for children.

We also enjoyed the Kayaking which only cost Php 50 good for 2 persons for 30 minutes.


Their Canopy Walk or fly above above the Lagoon cost Php 150 per person. (We haven't tried this because they're having under repair during the time we visited)

And lastly, its Zipline which only cost Php150 per person maximum 70 Kilos only.

The resort is perfect for family bonding's and reunions. If you want to stay there, they have very affordable accommodations listed below:

Cabana - this is good for 3 persons Php 1,200 per day. Additional Php 150 person head.
Family Room - this room is good for 4 persons Php 1,700 per day.
Twin Room - Good for couples or 2 persons Php 1,200 per day. Additional Php 200 person head.
